1965 to 1974 Comparison of the Annual Report of the Immigration and Naturalization Service

Dublin Core

Title

1965 to 1974 Comparison of the Annual Report of the Immigration and Naturalization Service

Description

A table from Page 4 of the 1973/74 Annual Report of the Immigration and Naturalization Service. This table compares immigration statistics from 1965 to the then-current statistics of 1974. Data includes "Immigrants Admitted" from 1965 and 1974 but also provides a "Percent Change" between the two. The reason for the comparison to 1965 is because of the "Immigration and Nationality Act of 1965" which radically changed the way immigration worked and led to a dramatic statistical increase in immigration.
